Tulsa Market
October 9th, 2008 7:08 AM

I recently had the opportunity to hear leading economist from OSU, Dr. Mark Snead.  From his reports and expert knowledge based on 20 years of experience following economic trends, Dr. Snead is very optimistic on the future of the economic structure of Oklahoma, namely Tulsa!  Due in part to our leading trends in energy and our industrial/mechanical means, Tulsa is set up to weather and even possibly divert much of the economic downturns that would rupture other parts of the nation.  Hang in there Tulsa!!

Family Fall Fun!
October 14th, 2008 8:35 AM

It's been Fall for about 3 weeks and the weather is finally starting to show the signs.  Although we've only done it once as a family, one of our favorite memories is the time we went apple picking outside Kansas City several years ago.  Through a new website that highlights local activities, http://www.americantowns.com/ok/tulsa, I've discovered a variety of activities that my family can enjoy.  One of those is apple picking!  Here is the direct link which will take you to the page you need to find your next family memory.  http://www.americantowns.com/ok/tulsa/news/apple-picking-orchards-and-apple-farms-guide-for-tulsa-oklahoma-118972.

P.S.  Just be careful.  The last time my wife went blackberry picking, she almost spent $96 for 30 lbs. of blackberries.
